We are recruiting for a renowned Architecture firm, its next Head of the Works Department. You will play a key role in managing and coordinating projects, while leading a dedicated and experienced team. A sizeable team, a strong architectural sensitivity and innovative projects.

Our client is a renowned Architecture firm, located in the heart of the canton of Vaud, recognised for its technical expertise and commitment to excellence. This role combines operational management, team leadership (around 10 people) and decision-making on sizeable projects. This position is aimed at an experienced professional.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the DT department as a whole
- Ensure respect for deadlines, budgets and quality requirements for each project
- Ensure overall planning, compliance with standards and supervision of proper project execution
- Prepare and validate the technical documents necessary for project completion
- Lead the field teams and site managers across all projects
- Structure interventions and plan resources
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the department’s processes and methodologies
- Train and supervise team members to ensure optimal performance
- Provide clear reporting on objectives, deadlines and resources
Candidate Profile
- HES degree or equivalent (construction, architecture)
- Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in construction and/or architecture
- Proven project management experience
- Excellent command of IT tools and software specific to the field
- Confidence in team management and operational coordination
- Experience in Switzerland is mandatory
- Excellent stress management, ability to make decisions in an operational environment
- Organisational skills and ability to manage priorities
