We are at home throughout Europe and always close to our customers.Commvault Backup Engineer (f/m/d)Be your best with bechtleOn behalf of our client based in Geneva, we are looking for a Commvault Backup Engineer (f/m/d) responsible for ensuring the reliability and evolution of backup and data protection infrastructures within a banking environment.Mission- Administer, operate, and evolve the Commvault backup solution to ensure data protection and availability.- Supervise backup, restoration, and archiving processes in accordance with security and business continuity requirements.- Analyze and resolve incidents, optimize performance, and ensure the maintenance of backup infrastructures.- Participate in the definition and implementation of data protection, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.- Collaborate with systems, storage, and network teams as part of infrastructure evolutions and projects.Profile- At least 5 years of experience in the administration and operation of backup solutions within complex and critical environments.- Confirmed expertise in Commvault, particularly in incident resolution, upgrades, and maintenance.- Solid knowledge of backup, restoration, archiving, data protection, and disaster recovery concepts.- Mastery of enterprise storage environments, with experience in HPE solutions.- Knowledge of Windows and Linux infrastructures, VMware virtualization, as well as SAN and NAS storage environments.- Ability to work autonomously, methodically, and rigorously, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and proposal skills.Working conditions- Advantageous working conditions: 6 weeks of vacation per year and a pension plan.- Development of potential: wide range of professional and personal training offered by the Bechtle Academy.- Diversity: interesting and changing tasks in a future-oriented sector.Bechtle Suisse SABechtle Suisse SA has certified skills in the following areas: IT Infrastructure, IT Management, Managed Services, Skills Management, Analytics, Printing Solutions, and E-Commerce.
