SolarEdge is seeking an ambitious Commercial Sales Manager in Field Sales for the German- and French-speaking regions of Switzerland with technical expertise to support the Swiss sales team. At SolarEdge, you can expect a permanent contract, a state-of-the-art working environment with the necessary equipment for remote work and home office activities.

Region: Romandie, Bern

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • As Commercial Sales Manager, you act as the central contact for the design, consultation, and strategic orientation of renewable energy systems
  • Expansion of the existing customer portfolio as well as acquisition of new customers
  • Building and maintaining relationships with solar sales channels such as installers, EPCs, utilities, project developers, commercial customers, and strategic clients in the region
  • Identification and development of sales opportunities
  • Preparation of market analyses and strategy development for the region
  • Development of the regional marketing strategy and coordination with the marketing department
  • Strengthening customer competencies through product training, workshops, and seminars
  • Support in system planning and design of photovoltaic systems
  • Support of product management in defining and improving the product portfolio for the Swiss market
  • Participation in trade fairs and customer events

 

 Requirements:

  • Technically or economically completed studies, technician, master craftsman, or equivalent desirable
  • Industry and specialist knowledge in photovoltaics required
  • Experience in sales of technology products
  • Regional networking with the above-mentioned solar sales channels is an advantage
  • Initial experience with SolarEdge’s product portfolio is an advantage
  • Ability to identify and win new customers while maintaining existing relationships
  • Personal interest, flexibility, and willingness to learn for further development
  • Very good German-French skills in spoken and written form, with goal-oriented communication and excellent language comprehension; English skills are an advantage
  • Independent and proactive working attitude and commitment
