Specialist in the supervision of collective investment schemesAs a specialist in the supervision of collective investment schemes, you apply your technical knowledge to supervisory activities and contribute to investor protection. You will be faced with particularly varied tasks.The FINMA is the supervisory authority for the Swiss financial market. It protects creditors, investors, and policyholders, and ensures the proper functioning of financial markets. In doing so, it contributes to improving the competitiveness and viability of the Swiss financial center. We offer you a position within the Asset Management and Markets division.Main tasks- Supervision of institutions and products in the collective investment schemes sector, according to a risk-oriented and principle-based approach.- Conducting analyses on risk management within institutions and collective investment schemes, particularly regarding liquidity and valuation risks.- Development of analyses and data-based models to identify and assess risks.- Contribution to the continuous development of supervisory concepts, supervisory practice, and analytical tools.- Technical support and intervention as an expert for on-site inspections.- Analysis of regulatory, economic, and market developments in asset management and corresponding prudential measures.Required profile- Degree in economics, finance, or an equivalent field; a specialized professional qualification (e.g., CFA, FRM, certified accountant/auditor diploma) is an asset.- At least five years of relevant professional experience in the field of collective investment schemes, asset management in general, risk management, auditing, or consulting.- Solid knowledge of risk management concerning collective investment schemes, particularly in the field of liquidity and valuation.- Experience in developing data-based analyses or models.- Analytical mind, proactive and autonomous approach, with the ability to process and present complex subjects in a manner adapted to different interlocutors, while collaborating effectively within interdisciplinary teams.- Proficiency in German or French at C2 level, with very good knowledge of the other language (B2) and English (B2).PerspectivesWe are the ideal employer for those ready to fully commit, seeking challenges, and wishing to take on responsibilities quickly.
