To meet the many challenges on the Payerne and Estavayer-le-Lac sites, the HIB is looking for a Medical Coder 80% - 100%.Your missionWithin the medical coding unit, in the Finance department, you actively contribute to the quality, reliability, and completeness of the institution's data. Thanks to your expertise, you participate in guaranteeing precise coding of medical records in compliance with the directives of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) and current regulations.Main tasks:- Ensure medical coding of hospital stays according to SwissDRG and ST-REHA.- Analyze and interpret clinical data to guarantee reliable, consistent, and compliant coding according to regulatory requirements.- Collect, check, and validate the information necessary for quality coding.- Collaborate with medical, nursing, and administrative teams to ensure the accuracy of coded data.- Manage exchanges with insurance companies and ensure follow-up of requests related to medical coding.- Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and provide support for transversal activities of the department according to needs.Profile:- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent training deemed equivalent.- Federal diploma as a medical coding specialist, or experience in the field of coding or medical documentation.- Solid knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.- Analytical mind, rigor, and sense of organization.- Ability to work autonomously while favoring collaboration.- Proficiency with IT tools and office software.We offer:- A stimulating position within an engaged, professional, and passionate team.- A human-sized work environment, favoring proximity, autonomy, and quality of exchanges.- An opportunity to evolve in a dynamic institution, oriented towards the future.- Possibilities for teleworking favoring flexibility and the balance between professional and private life.- Attractive employment conditions as well as quality social benefits.- A workplace located in a pleasant region.Start date: January 1st or by agreement.We thank you for sending us your updated application file by applying online.
