In this context, we are currently looking for a:

CNC Operator - Setter (2x8 shifts or night shifts) (100%)

2-year fixed-term contract | Watchmaking | Neuchâtel Mountains

Your tasks:

• Perform adjustments and start-up of 5-axis CNC milling and turning machines
• Monitor the production of watch casing parts
• Carry out visual and dimensional checks (Marcel Aubert, 3D machine, Comparator)
• Load parts and perform milling and turning operations on watch casing parts
• Change cutting tools and correct programmes
• Ensure cleaning, chip removal and lubrication of machines (first-level maintenance)

Your profile:

• Federal VET Diploma as production mechanic or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in setting CNC milling or 5-axis turning machines (Willemin Macodel, Chiron, Bumotec S191, Bumotec neo)
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls
• Good command of usual dimensional control tools (micrometer, Marcel Aubert and 3D control)
• Methodical, careful, rigorous and conscientious
• Ability to manage priorities
• Experience in manufacturing watch or jewellery components on 5-axis CNC machines
