Client Payroll Accountant (Fiduciary Services)Client:

A well-established fiduciary firm experiencing strong business growth and seeking to reinforce its accounting and payroll team. The firm works with a portfolio of international and Swiss clients and places strong emphasis on high-quality service, accuracy, and professionalism.

Position:

This position is for a Client Payroll Accountant (50-80%) to support the accounting and payroll operations for one of its major clients and other assigned mandates. The role requires a blend of payroll processing, accounting expertise, and the ability to work efficiently within a fiduciary environment. The successful candidate will join a small, close-knit team where collaboration and support are highly valued, allowing them to learn quickly and make a visible impact. The role will be onsite initially, with the possibility of limited home office once fully integrated.

Tasks:
  • Manage payroll processing for assigned client mandates using GIT (essential).
  • Handle payroll on Abacus for one major mandate (experience with Abacus is a strong advantage).
  • Perform accounting tasks including bookkeeping, accruals, reconciliations, and preparation of journal entries.
  • Support the improvement of accounting and payroll processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency (, scanning bank statements to generate automated journal entries).
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of payroll and accounting outputs in line with Swiss standards.
  • Assist with general fiduciary tasks as needed and contribute to the team's overall workflow.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and maintain strong internal communication.
Profile
  • 4-5 years of experience working in a fiduciary (mandatory to ensure "plug-and-play" integration).
  • Strong background in payroll and accounting.
  • GIT payroll system experience is essential.
  • Experience with Abacus payroll is a significant advantage.
  • Capable of both manual and automated accounting processes; strong Excel skills.
  • Part-qualified accountant is a plus but not required.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Preferably resident in Switzerland or a nearby region (frontalier accepted).
  • Available to start early 2026 ideally.
