Clerk Description of the job We are looking for several public prosecutor's offices in districts, clerks on fixed-term contracts lasting between 5 and 7 months. In this role, you will assist and relieve a judicial officer and be responsible for drafting judicial decisions, as well as requests for coercive measures or other specific procedural acts. You may be required to take charge of the investigation and conduct it independently. The public prosecutor's office is the authority for criminal prosecution throughout the Vaud territory. Consequently, it directs the preliminary criminal procedure and the investigations into offenses brought to its attention when they concern adults. It also represents before the courts and various instances. The public prosecutor's office consists of the central public prosecutor's office, the 4 district offices, and the cantonal public prosecutor's office STRADA.
