AUTJ159 Regional Court of the Littoral and Val-de-Travers - Clerk-Writer at 90% AUTJ159 Regional Court of the Littoral and Val-de-Travers The District Court is the cantonal judicial authority of first instance. Distributed over three sites, it consists of the following sections: the civil court chamber, the authority for the protection of children and adults, the juvenile criminal court, the police court, the criminal court, and the measures court. The Regional Court of the Littoral and Val-de-Travers, Boudry site, is recruiting for a clerk-writer position. Your role primarily involves drafting civil and criminal decisions and judgments to be issued at the end of investigations conducted by the judges of the Regional Court of the Littoral and Val-de-Travers, the site of which also involves analytical work on cases and legal research, either alone or in collaboration with others. Additionally, you will be called upon to perform various tasks related to the management of the cases assigned to you, particularly concerning legal assistance to the judges and the registry, which may include all tasks related to the judges’ work and registry support. Profile: You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, completed by the bar exam, and ideally have at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a lawyer (post-bar) preferably in the judicial field, or any other experience relevant to the position. Able to work autonomously, you make decisions while respecting competencies and are valued for both your rigor and versatility. You can handle a significant amount of work while managing stress, thanks to your strong sense of priorities and organization. Specific skills: Very good knowledge of the Neuchâtel public institution's system and operations; excellent writing skills; analytical and synthesis capabilities; proficiency in legal German; exemplary conduct. This position also requires a clean criminal record and a record of non-pursuance.
