The association Solidarité femmes Biel & Region operates, as a cantonally recognised victim support centre, an outpatient counselling centre, a women’s shelter and recently also a girls’ shelter.

As a crisis intervention centre, we offer girls, women and their children affected by domestic violence a safe accommodation, counselling, psychosocial support as well as other services in accordance with the Victim Support Act (OHG).

For the Finance, HR and Administration sector, we are looking for from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement

Clerk* Finance and Administration (60-70%)

Collaborator* Finance and Administration (60–70%)

Your tasks

  • Management of accounts payable and receivable accounting
  • Participation in quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER 21
  • Preparation of the operating budget in collaboration with management
  • Close cooperation with and deputising for the HR and Administration clerk
  • Support for the managing director and department heads in financial, budgetary and personnel matters
  • Participation in the analysis and optimisation of internal processes
  • General administration for the association and the affiliated institutions (women’s shelter, girls’ shelter, outpatient counselling centre)
  • Coordination of IT and telephony support with external providers

Your tasks

  • Management of supplier and client accounting
  • Participation in quarterly and annual closures according to Swiss GAAP RPC 21
  • Establishment of the budget in collaboration with management
  • Close collaboration with and deputising for the HR and Administration collaborator
  • Support for the director and sector managers in financial, budgetary and personnel matters
  • Participation in the analysis and optimisation of internal processes
  • General administration of the association and the attached structures (women’s shelter, girls’ shelter, outpatient consultation service)
  • Coordination of IT and telephony support with external providers

Your profile

  • Training or further education in finance and accounting
  • Several years of experience in finance and administration in a non-profit organisation
  • Experience with service contracts of social institutions
  • Knowledge of Abacus
  • Experience in human resources
  • Digital affinity and very good IT skills
  • Flexibility, resilience and a sense of humour
  • German or French with good knowledge of the other language

Your profile

  • Training or continuing education in finance and accounting
  • Several years of experience in finance and administration within a non-profit organisation
  • Experience with service contracts of social institutions
  • Skills in Abacus
  • Experience in human resources
  • Comfort with digital tools and very good IT knowledge
  • Flexibility, stress resistance and a sense of humour
  • French or German with good knowledge of the other language
