The position is attached to the Operations Department. This department's mission is to ensure the stewardship and logistics necessary for the smooth running of all HUG facilities, in terms of catering, cleaning and disinfection of premises, and laundry hygiene. It also manages the sterilisation service, the biomedical and equipment service, as well as Cressy-Santé. More than 1,300 professionals carry out their duties daily with constant attention to quality, a sense of service, and environmental responsibility.

Within the Operations Department, the Cleaning and Hygiene Service is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting premises, rooms, and beds with a highly qualified team and measures to prevent hospital infections. Waste management, garden maintenance, and road management are integral parts of the service's activities.



Cleaning and Hygiene Agents - 100%


As part of your activities, you ensure cleaning, bio-cleaning, general and specific maintenance, and disinfection throughout the hospital buildings defined in the task sheets.

You ensure the cleaning, bio-cleaning, and disinfection of furniture and beds.

You are a versatile person regarding sites and schedules, as well as professional knowledge (maintenance, deep cleaning) to cover urgent requests and/or possible replacements.

You comply with the directives of the infection prevention and control service.


Qualifications

You have at least 2 years of confirmed experience in cleaning; experience in a hospital environment is an advantage.

A Federal VET Diploma (CFC) and/or an AFP in cleaning is an asset.

You have good knowledge of spoken, written, and read French (level B2 required).

You are comfortable using common cleaning machines (scrubber-drier - vacuum cleaner).

You master basic IT tools, Excel, and Outlook.

These skills are essential to provide quality services and contribute to maintaining a safe and clean hospital environment.
