Your mission in Biel
With us, at the Specialised Early Childhood Service, you are responsible for examining parents' financial support applications and issuing childcare vouchers for nurseries. In this context, you work in a bilingual team of four people and follow municipal and cantonal regulations.- Do you enjoy contact with various categories of people (parents, nursery staff, specialists)?

- Do you stand out for your strong sense of service, patience and flexibility?
- Do you appreciate and know how to work independently, but also enjoy collaborating within a team?

- Basic commercial training or equivalent recognised training in Switzerland, preferably with experience in public administration
About us
Our Generations & Neighbourhoods Department is committed to making Biel a city favourable to families and older people, with lively neighbourhoods. With some 165 collaborators, it is responsible for sociocultural activities, senior citizen policy and early childhood policy, which includes childcare vouchers and discounts for playgroup attendance. It also manages municipal nurseries and InfoQuartiers.In this spirit, it develops meeting and encouragement offers in the social environment and supports initiatives in the field of cooperation. In this way, we promote social cohesion of all generations in the neighbourhoods.
