The Early Childhood Service (SDPE) is responsible for implementing the City of Geneva's policy in favour of early childhood, managing municipal childcare facilities and supporting those it subsidises. As part of maternity leave replacements for the Marie Goegg-Pouchoulin early childhood sector, which includes two nurseries, a parent-child space, and a kindergarten, totalling 171 places, we are looking for



Childcare Educators 80% - 100%



Your mission and responsibilities:

- Organise the reception and support of children while ensuring a quality service that complies with current standards.

- Contribute to and ensure the implementation of the educational project of the childcare facility and institution.

- Develop and implement educational actions in line with the educational project.

- Support and supervise the activities of interns, apprentices, ASE and assistants.

- Create a group dynamic favourable to the awakening, development and socialisation of children.

- Ensure the formalisation and transmission of information to families.

- Collaborate in the preparation and facilitation of information and exchange meetings with the children’s representatives.



Your profile:

- Hold a recognised childcare educator diploma (ESEDE) or an equivalent qualification (SEFRI recognition mandatory).
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, enthusiasm, openness and kindness.
- Show strong listening skills, good stress management and ease in communication.
