The Family Sector of the Family, Childhood and Sports Service is in charge of collective pre- and after-school care for the City of Vevey. As part of your role, you will take care, with several colleagues, of a group of 36 children aged 4 to 10 and will assume the following main tasks:- Welcome children in a safe and stimulating environment- Ensure the daily needs of children are met on both an individual and collective level- Accompany children in their learning and development according to the pedagogical line of the sector and the institutional concept- Organize the daily life of children and encourage their development through activities- Collaborate with families and the school environment- Enrich the pedagogical line and participate in projects through reflective practice- Actively participate in teamwork and institutional projectsRequired skills:- ES/HES Childhood degree or CFC as an assistant or equivalent deemed by the Cantonal Service for Day Care of Children (SCAJE) with professional experience desired with groups of children aged 4 to 10- Ability to work in a team and spirit of cooperation- Listening skills and sense of responsibility- Proactive- Interest in the management and development of pedagogical projects- Flexibility, availability, and autonomyWe offer you a pleasant, varied, and dynamic work environment with possibilities for professional development within the framework of internal and/or external training.Information on the position:- Activity rate: Your 30% activity rate is annualized and corresponds to a weekly working time of approximately 14.5 hours. The days worked are Monday to Friday, except Wednesday.
