As part of a new stage in its development and in order to anticipate the succession in the company's management, it has entrusted us with the recruitment mandate for its future Technical Director / Future General Manager.In this key role, you will take responsibility for the company's technical management and steer all activities related to projects and field teams. In close collaboration with management and support functions, you will ensure the technical, operational, and financial performance of activities, while actively contributing to the company's development and the strengthening of its market position. This position is part of a clear succession plan and offers the opportunity, in the medium term, to evolve towards the general management of this recognized SME, by gradually participating in decisions and the overall management of the company.Main responsibilities:- Ensure the technical management of the company and supervise all projects, teams, and the quality of work on construction sites.- Plan, organize, and coordinate activities to ensure compliance with deadlines, budgets, and quality standards required by clients.- Assume responsibility for submissions, including the analysis of calls for tenders, technical and financial offers, as well as the follow-up of proposals with clients and partners.- Ensure the financial monitoring of projects and oversee the profitability of construction sites.- Plan and optimize human and material resources necessary for the execution of projects.- Supervise, support, and develop technical teams, notably project managers and lead installers, while ensuring effective management of field teams and fluid communication between activities and management.- Bridge the gap between technical activities and company management by collaborating closely with support functions, notably the financial director.- Maintain relationships of trust with clients, architects, engineers, partners, and specifiers involved in the projects.- Guarantee compliance with technical, regulatory, and safety standards applicable to the company's activities.- Contribute to internal processes and actively participate in the commercial development and positioning of the company in its market.- Participate in strategic reflections and gradually get involved in the overall management of the company with a view to evolving towards general management.Profile:- Your academic background has allowed you to acquire a solid technical foundation, ideally benefiting from a federal master's degree or an equivalent title.- You demonstrate confirmed experience in building techniques and in managing large-scale projects, ideally acquired within companies active on complex or institutional projects.- Team management is an integral part of your background and you have already supervised significant technical teams, developing a leadership style that is both structuring and motivating.- Professional experience in Switzerland is essential in order to master the specificities of the market, standards, and regulations of the sector.- The financial and commercial dimensions of a company are familiar to you and you are comfortable with monitoring project profitability as well as negotiations with clients and partners.- You have a good understanding of business management tools and standard IT environments.- Your personality makes the difference: inspiring and credible on a technical level, you know how to unite teams around common objectives and establish a climate of trust.- A strong presence on the ground and a high level of commitment are part of your way of working.
