The Department of Community and Primary Care Medicine (DMCPR) has the societal mission to provide access to quality healthcare for all through local medicine, to ensure the management of minor medical and surgical emergencies, to promote prevention among citizens, to provide medical knowledge for judicial investigations, and to promote the health of travellers.

Due to the versatility of its expertise, the Romand University Centre of Forensic Medicine (CURML) is tasked with responding to all requests for expert opinions or advisory assistance in the medico-legal field, medical law, and doping analysis. Located in the Lake Geneva region, its scope of competence extends regionally, nationally, and internationally.



Chief Clinical Radiologist with Specialty Title or Associate Physician - 50%


You coordinate and develop post-mortem and clinical medico-legal diagnostic activities (CT scan, MRI, X-rays). You also ensure effective liaison with other units and sectors of the CURML as well as with medical radiology technicians. You also carry out expert assessments on behalf of the Public Prosecutor's Office. You participate in hearings as an expert before the Public Prosecutor's Office and/or the Court. You are also capable of illustrating radiological reports with PowerPoint presentations. You actively participate in research activities within the CURML.


Qualifications

You hold the federal medical diploma or have equivalent training and have obtained an FMH title in radiology. If your diploma and/or specialisation comes from a foreign country, you have obtained recognition from the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO).

You have a Geneva cantonal practice licence.

For non-French-speaking applicants, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.

Possessing excellent communication skills within a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are a dynamic, flexible, and committed person. Furthermore, you have demonstrated strong adaptability.

Depending on your profile and experience, an appointment as an associate physician may also be considered.
