The R&D Chemist develops and optimises UV inks for screen printing, ensuring their performance, compliance, and industrialisation. They act as a key interface between the laboratory, production, and clients, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility, aligned with the company’s values.

 

ROLE:

  • Develop and optimise UV inks (pigmented formulations)
  • Manage reformulations related to regulatory changes or raw materials
  • Ensure compliance with global regulations
  • Ensure industrial transfer (scale-up) and support production
  • Support clients (visits, troubleshooting, validations)
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Supervise technicians if necessary
  • Contribute to innovation and patent strategy
  • Act as backup for the team leader

PROFILE :

  • Degree in chemistry
  • Expertise in UV chemistry and polymerisation (ideally inks, coatings or formulation)
  • Experience in pigmented formulation
  • Good understanding of scale-up and industrial constraints
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements; IT skills and data management, programming (e.g. LabVIEW): an asset
  • Knowledge of gravure, offset, varnish inks: an asset
  • Autonomy and sense of responsibility
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Languages: French - Fluent / English - Professional
