Pastoral Assistant at 70%The Church in the canton of Vaud is a lively and committed community. More than 50 parishes, 5 departments, 5 linguistic missions, 280 motivated employees and nearly volunteers with the same mission: to live their faith and share the values of the Gospel.To strengthen the team of the Intercultural Pastoral Unit (UPI) Riviera–Pays-d'Enhaut, we are looking for:Pastoral Assistant at 70%Main activities:- You lead groups of children and teenagers.- You organize and participate in key moments (family mass, retreats and times of prayer) with children and teenagers.- You are the link with the families.- You assume the secretariat of the parish by managing in particular the permanence for reception and the telephone.- You establish, among other things, various files and schedules, you update the information transmitted and you manage the parish register.- You participate in cantonal meetings, you collaborate with other pastoral agents.Profile sought:- You are of Catholic confession and have a marked interest in the world of childhood and youth, as well as an openness to ecumenism.- Your interpersonal skills and your ease in communication make you a person of dialogue, open to others, favoring teamwork and listening.- You demonstrate autonomy, organizational skills and also have good writing and administrative skills.- You are comfortable with computer tools.- You agree to train regularly.- You are mobile and flexible in working hours.Place of work: Montreux (Riviera)Start date: September 1st, or by arrangement.For more information on the position: contact the parish priest of the UPI Riviera – Pays-d'Enhaut.We thank you for sending us your complete application file (cover letter, curriculum vitae, photo, copy of work certificates and diplomas), by July 15th, only via the job portal.
