We are looking for a Carpenter (M/F) qualified for a temporary assignment on various sites located in the Canton of Vaud. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out carpentry and roofing work, in compliance with Swiss safety and quality standards.

• Carpentry Work:

• Reading plans and taking measurements.

• Preparation, cutting and assembly of wooden frameworks (traditional and industrial carpentry).

• Installation and fixing of carpentry elements (beams, trusses, rafters).

• Carrying out thermal insulation work from the outside or inside.

• Roofing Work:

• Installation of various roofing materials (tiles, slates, sheets, etc.).

• Creation and maintenance of roof waterproofing.

• Installation of rainwater drainage systems (gutters, downpipes).

• Repair and renovation of existing roofs.

• Safety and Organisation:

• Strict adherence to safety instructions on site (wearing PPE).

• Cleaning and maintaining order in the work area.

Profile and Required Skills

• Training: Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as Carpenter or Roofer, or equivalent qualification (recognised foreign diploma).

• Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally gained in Switzerland.

• Technical Skills:

• Mastery of techniques for installing and renovating frameworks and roofs.

• Ability to work with different construction materials.

• Autonomy in reading plans.

• Personal Qualities:

• Rigour, precision and attention to detail.

• Good physical condition and no fear of heights for working at elevation.

• Team spirit and flexibility.

Mobility: Driving licence (cat. B) and own vehicle an advantage.
