Career CounselorJob DescriptionJoin our team as a career counselor!Passionate about guiding young people in their future choices, you will play a key role in helping them build a solid and informed professional project.In this role, you will conduct individual interviews, facilitate classroom interventions, and collaborate closely with partners from schools, the administration, and the professional world. You will thus contribute to supporting students at the end of their schooling or in transition during a decisive stage of their journey.Responsibilities- Conduct counseling sessions based on requests and needs with a view to defining a training or integration project.- Support and accompany students in implementing the means useful for the realization of this project.- Ensure follow-up (consultant files, various administrative tasks, reports) and respond to requests from the target audience.- Maintain close collaboration with partners from the school, the Transition (T1) sector, and the professional world.- Update knowledge and contribute to enriching the knowledge and practices of career counselors.For more information, please consult the job description by clicking HERE.Requirements- Master of Science (MSC) in psychology, counseling option, or specialized in career counseling, university level or from an institution recognized by the SEFRI required.- Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in management, human resources management, and career counseling or equivalent deemed desirable.- Relevant professional experience.- Good knowledge of the regional economic fabric.- Good knowledge of the X and Vaudois system.- Basic IT skills required.- Driver's license necessary.- A check of potential criminal records is required for this position.WHO ARE WE?The General Directorate of Education (DGEP) ensures the training that takes place between the end of compulsory education and higher education, namely vocational training and gymnasium education.
