This position is for you!As a counselor, you will support students at the end of their schooling by conducting career interviews with students in the final years of schooling. You will facilitate sessions in classes and collaborate with various partners from the school, and the world of work. For more information, please consult the job description by clicking here.Responsibilities- Conduct individual interviews to support students and adults in their career choices.- Provide reliable and up-to-date information on training, professions, and the labor market.- Analyze the profiles, interests, and skills of beneficiaries to help them define a realistic project.- Administer and interpret tests and assessments to clarify the aptitudes, interests, and potential of users.- Collaborate with actors in education and the economic world to ensure consistent follow-up of paths.- Ensure continuous professional monitoring to keep knowledge up to date and improve practices.Profile- Master of Science (MSC) in psychology, counseling option, or specialized in career counseling, university level, or provided by a higher education institution or an institution recognized by the SEFRI required.- Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in management, human resources management, and career counseling or deemed equivalent desired.- Relevant professional experience.- Good knowledge of the regional economic fabric.- Good knowledge of the education system.- Basic knowledge in IT required.- Driver's license necessary.- Verification of potential criminal records is required for this position.Who are we?The General Directorate of Education (DGEP) ensures the missions that are located between the end of compulsory education and higher education, i.e., vocational training and gymnasium education.
