Responsibilities
As a Business Developer, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients in your sector;
- Develop and retain a portfolio of clients composed of small-scale structures: local and regional small businesses, entrepreneurs, SMEs;
- Present and sell services tailored to clients' needs;
- Actively contribute to revenue growth by meeting and exceeding defined targets;
- Develop lasting and trustworthy relationships with your clients;
- Prepare customised commercial proposals and manage contract negotiations;
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure the quality of delivered services;
- Maintain active market monitoring and identify new development opportunities;
- Participate in professional events to expand your network and represent the company;
- Provide regular reporting on your commercial activity and performance tracking.
Candidate Profile
As a Business Developer, you have the following profile:
- Excellent command of French;
- Knowledge of the local economic fabric (Vaud), ideally in local retail;
- A true hunter mentality, driven by commercial development and winning new clients;
- Proven experience in a B2B sales and business development role;
- Experience in media, communication, advertising, or services sectors is an advantage;
- Strong skills in prospecting, negotiation, and portfolio development;
- Strong results orientation and ability to achieve ambitious goals;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build long-term trustful relationships;
- Comfortable with digital tools and new technologies;
- Autonomy, perseverance, curiosity, and team spirit;
- Completed education in a relevant field, ideally in sales, marketing, or communication.
