Breast Care Nurse for the Fribourg Breast Centre (Infirmier·ère référent·e) The Fribourg Breast Centre (CSF), certified by the Swiss Cancer League, offers people with breast cancer quality and accessible care. The CSF is the result of a collaboration between Daler Hospital and the Fribourg hospital. To complete our dedicated nursing team at the breast centre, we are looking for a candidate for June 1 or as agreed upon. Your mission: - Support nurses in breast cancer care. - Accompany patients and their relatives as a resource person throughout the care journey. - Assess the physical and psychosocial aspects of patients to identify difficulties and support needs. - Ensure a good understanding of information related to the disease and treatments, in addition to what is provided by doctors. - Direct patients to appropriate resources and structures. - Collaborate interdisciplinarily with members of the Fribourg Breast Centre. - Participate in the continued education of hospital staff and contribute to research activities in the field of breast cancer. - Engage in continuous quality improvement of care, in accordance with the criteria of the Swiss Cancer League. Profile: - HES Bachelor’s degree in nursing. - DAS or CAS in oncology with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. - Strong knowledge of breast cancer, treatments, and their side effects. - Excellent listening skills and ability to manage emotionally demanding situations. - Mastery of individual, family, and community engagement techniques. - Clinical expertise in the management of complex cases. - French or German language proficiency with excellent knowledge of the other.
