The results guide medical decisions and therapeutic choices. They are obtained using the most recent robotic, semi-robotic, or manual technologies and the most efficient methods to date. The service also has research and teaching missions.The Central Serotheque of the Laboratory Medicine Service carries out the processing and biobanking of biological samples for the needs of medical services within the framework of patient care and for clinical research studies. The Central Serotheque also provides support to clinical study investigators for the implementation of protocols for the collection, processing, and storage of biological samples, in compliance with good clinical practice rules.Biomedical Laboratory Technician - 65%The Central Serotheque of the Laboratory Medicine Service is looking for a biomedical laboratory technician with solid experience in the field of biobanks and clinical studies, capable of integrating quickly into a team, demonstrating rigor and collegiality.You will have to organize, ensure, and control the proper execution of the various stages of the management of biological samples received at the Central Serotheque.You must participate in the implementation and monitoring of procedures and quality control.Within the framework of clinical studies, you participate in defining and implementing, in conjunction with those responsible, the procedures related to the management of biological samples.You participate in the development of biobank activities, as well as in the development and implementation of new tools for the management and traceability of samples.You will be required to collaborate with internal or external partners and biobanks of the University Hospitals of Geneva.You are in possession of a diploma as a biomedical laboratory technician or a title deemed equivalent.You have the ability to meticulously follow procedures and adapt quickly to changes.You are capable of working independently.You have solid theoretical knowledge in the pre-analytical management of samples.You have theoretical knowledge and experience in the management of biobanks in the biomedical or research field.You master tools such as Excel and other related software. Proficiency in English would be an asset.You have professional experience in a medical analysis laboratory.
