English-qualified lawyer, focusing on banking and general commercial matters.
This role is ideal for someone with 1–5 years of post-qualification experience.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on legal aspects of international
contracts for the sale or purchase of material - Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, security
documents, and financial contracts - Ensure compliance with banking regulations and financial
laws - Support structured finance, project finance, and real
estate finance transactions - Provide legal support across various departments
including corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters - Draft and review contracts and internal policies
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on diverse
legal topics - Assist in dispute resolution and liaise with external
counsel when needed - Participate in client meetings and negotiations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and
external stakeholders - Stay updated on legal developments and advise on
implications for the business
Your Profile
- Law degree and bar admission, preferably in a common law
or mixed common/civil law jurisdiction - 1–5 years PQE in banking, finance, or general commercial
law - English mother tongue, proficiency with the Italian
language will be a very strong plus - Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
under pressure - High level of professional ethics and integrity
