We are looking for: Backend Software Engineer (Hosting)Context: The Public Hosting team’s mission is to design the future of web hosting at Infomaniak. We are transforming our historical solutions to drive a new range of offerings, supported by a modern and scalable architecture, placing quality, reliability, and experience at the heart of each responsibility of the stack: - Actively participate in the transition of hosting solutions to an orchestrated architecture (Kubernetes).- Abstraction & API-First: Design the abstraction layers (APIs) needed to mask the complexity of the backend.- Ensure the stability and maintainability of the product through tests and strong engagement in code reviews.- Reliability and security: Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data by applying the best security practices (encryption, API).Desired Profile: - PHP / Laravel Expertise: You have solid experience in modern PHP (version 8+) and master complex architecture layers, ideally through the Laravel framework.- Mastery of APIs & Microservices: Ability to design robust, high-performance, and well-documented APIs.- Infrastructure Affinity: You think about infrastructure as code + if you have knowledge in: - Experience with Kubernetes, GitLab CI. - Experience with SSL management (ACME/Let’s Encrypt). - Knowledge of shared hosting environments is a plus. - Open source contributions or side projects are appreciated.You enjoy working in a team and demonstrate a positive attitude.The technical stack we use:- MariaDB- Laravel- Redis- Grafana- ElasticSearch- Kubernetes- GrafanaPermanent positionRate: 80 - 100% Location: GenevaAvailability: As soon as possibleRecruitment process steps:- A first technical interview to validate your skills.- A second interview in our offices.Why Infomaniak: Be part of a company that shapes an ethical cloud that respects privacy, humans, and the environment.
