Azure DevOps Server Administrator – 100% role - 48 months

Your role

As an Azure DevOps Server Administrator, you strengthen the DevOps team and are the technical referent for the Azure DevOps Server platform, in an on-premise environment. You ensure the administration, operation and evolution of the platform, as well as the associated build servers, while supporting project teams in adopting and implementing CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code practices.

You actively contribute to the reliability, performance and security of integration and deployment pipelines, with a DevOps / SecOps mindset.

Your mission

• You administer the Azure DevOps Server (on-premise) platform and associated build servers, in Windows and Linux environments, ensuring their availability and proper functioning.
• You maintain and develop existing solutions, in collaboration with the integration team, to ensure the stability and sustainability of the Azure DevOps Server platform.
• You support projects in designing and implementing CI – Build pipelines, including technologies such as Java, .NET, Node, SharePoint, Python.
• You support projects in designing and implementing CD – Release pipelines, for on-premise, containerised and Azure deployments.
• You support projects in designing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines, relying on appropriate tools and frameworks.
• You assist teams in developing Kubernetes manifests and Helm Charts, and contribute to integrating workloads into Kubernetes environments.
• You carry out support, operation and troubleshooting activities related to the platform and its components.
• You document the Azure DevOps Server platform, its uses and best practices, and contribute to disseminating standards among project teams.

Your profile

• Degree in computer science or equivalent training.
• Engineer with perfect knowledge of the Azure DevOps Server platform and excellent mastery of Azure DevOps Services.
• Proficient in Windows administration and with perfect mastery of Linux administration.
• Fully master containerisation (Docker) and have perfect mastery of Kubernetes, including its plugins, designing manifests and Helm Charts.
• Have perfect mastery of YAML pipeline design for: CI / Builds, CD / Releases, and Infrastructure as Code pipelines.
• Strong skills in Terraform / OpenTofu, Ansible, Bicep, as well as PowerShell, Bash and Python.
• Good knowledge of Cloud Native components, designing Kubernetes operators, infrastructure components (network, storage), observability, security and code quality (e.g. Sonar).
• Comfortable with Jira and Confluence tools, and master agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Demonstrate a true DevOps and SecOps spirit, strong autonomy and excellent collaboration skills.
• Fluent in French and English both spoken and written; knowledge of German is an asset.
• Azure DevOps, Kubernetes and/or HERMES certifications are expected or highly appreciated.
