Your responsibilities
Directly reporting to an aviation authority group leader, the post holders will be tasked with:
- Escorting and positioning aircraft on the traffic areas and parking stands
- Conducting inspections of the movement area’s usability and safety (Runway, Taxiways, Final Approach and Take-Off area (FATO) and Tarmac)
- Assessing and publishing the usability conditions of the runway, taxiways, FATO and tarmac
- Controlling aeronautical infrastructures (ground markings, lighting, signage) in connection with aircraft ground movement as well as site lighting
- Verifying accessibility and usability of controlled movement zones (ZEC) - aircraft positions
- Participating in monitoring missions of ground activities in collaboration with aviation authority supervisors
- Conducting practical certifications for the Tarmac permit
- Participating in winter operations
- Ensuring basic maintenance of the service vehicles
- Participating in Animal Hazard Prevention (PPA) missions
- Working irregular hours inherent to service needs, including nights, weekends and public holidays, with on-call duty
You hold a secondary education qualification and a category B driving licence (car) and you:
- Are able to communicate in English
- Have basic computer skills
- Possess the qualities of a field person combining rigour, dynamism and flexibility
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team spirit and autonomy.
