AUTJ160 Public Ministry Prosecutor Assistant at 70% to 100% (multiple positions) AUTJ160 Public Ministry The main mission of the public ministry is to represent the general interest. Responsible for the uniform exercise of public action, it is responsible for conducting preliminary procedures, prosecuting offenses within the framework of the investigation, and, where appropriate, issuing acts and supporting public ministry is offering three positions of prosecutor assistant: - One position at 100% - One position at 100% and one at 70% or one position at 90% and one at you are kindly asked to indicate in your application letter whether you are applying for the full-time position (100%) or for one of the two part-time positions (70%-90%). Your missions As a prosecutor assistant within the Public Ministry, you will independently handle mass criminal cases related to lesser offenses that may result in financial penalties or liberty sentences of up to 120 days. In this capacity, you analyze files, conduct legal research, participate in hearings, and perform auditions. You also issue instructions to the police and make decisions such as non-prosecution, classifying cases, or orders from a prosecutor. You may be required to handle more significant cases, thus contributing to the management of more complex files within the Ministry. You work closely with the mass registry staff, to whom you delegate the follow-up of files. You also participate in the supervision of interns and take part, at the request of the Attorney General, in working groups and various profile. You hold a master's degree in law and the bar exam, as well as relevant previous experience for the position, ideally in the judicial, prison, or legal field. For your loyalty and discretion, you strongly adhere to the values of public service and demonstrate a real sense of responsibility. Capable of working independently, you make decisions while respecting professional boundaries and are appreciated for your rigor and versatility. You are also recognized for your ease of communication. You can handle a significant workload while managing stress, thanks to excellent organizational skills and good priority management. Specific competencies: - Very good knowledge of criminal prosecution. - Excellent writing skills. - Analytical and synthesis ability. - Good knowledge of German. - Ability to work independently. - Discretion. - Sociability and resistance to stress. The position also requires you to have a clean criminal record and a record of legal proceedings.
