What you can contribute
- Prepare armament projects, support them and introduce them into training after acquisition
- Take responsibility for concepts and development in the special forces domain as well as their implementation
- Carry out projects within the various specialised fields
- Sit on various specialised bodies and project groups as a representative of operational needs and the interests of the Special Forces Command
- Develop and implement training plans, training concepts and course programmes in the assigned training areas, and support the planning, organisation and execution of large-scale intervention training and exercises
What makes you unique
- Federal VET Diploma followed by advanced professional training and several years of professional experience in project management or armament
- In-depth knowledge in the field of special forces armament, preferably in command support, communications, sensors for reconnaissance and all-weather and night combat capability
- Good oral and written knowledge of a second official language and English (minimum level B2)
- Officer or non-commissioned officer in the Swiss Army with willingness to be (re)assigned to the troops within the Special Forces Command; military service aptitude and medical fitness (which will be checked during the recruitment process)

The Operations Command (cdmt Op) is responsible for all operations and military engagements of the Swiss Army. The cdmt Op includes, among others, the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Centre, the Special Forces Command as well as the Military Police. About 40% of the approximately 2500 employees are employed in civilian roles, from engineers to analysts to aircraft mechanics. The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and about 200 civilian professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland. It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
