The HEMU X of Lausanne (HEMU-CL) trains X and musicians aiming for a professional path, supports research, and promotes musical culture. It oversees the HEMU – Haute École de Musique, present in three cantons, providing higher education in classical music, jazz, and contemporary music to more than 500 students and also the Lausanne School which welcomes students in non-professional music and offers support pathways for young people. For the academic year, we are looking for: TECHNICIAN - Lausanne. During your training years, you will work within the technical service covering sound and light, with main missions including participating in the setup and dismantling of technical equipment, collaborating on the implementation of projects related to educational activities, and assisting in the organization and maintenance of equipment. We offer you a supervised internship led by professionals, an exciting and varied artistic environment, a workplace with excellent facilities and a collegial dynamic. Your profile: You should preferably be 18 years old by the start of the academic year, have an interest in the field of music and performing arts, be curious, motivated, and organized, possess a sense of autonomy, good communication skills and a welcoming attitude, be a team player, capable of adapting to irregular hours and have good physical condition.
