The Plein Soleil Department of the Lavigny Institution, located in Lausanne, is dedicated to people with progressive neurological diseases or brain injuries, and includes a nursing home with 70 beds, one with 10 places, 12 sheltered housing units, and a therapy center. It is a unique place of life and care in the Canton of Vaud, offering personalized support, with care and therapies, social and cultural activities, personal development and well-being, spiritual support, and a service dedicated to relatives of people. We are looking for our socio-cultural service: An ASE apprentice. During your training and under the responsibility of your supervisor, you will benefit from a comprehensive plan to carry out the main activities: Supporting residents in their daily lives (hygiene care, meals, group leisure activities, outings, individual support in institutional spaces, personal projects of residents), implementing and monitoring support concepts for people with disabilities, ensuring a role as a socio-cultural representative, participating in the design and implementation of activities in the socio-cultural sector, participating in reflection spaces related to professional development or offered by the institution (group seminars, introductory courses on the concept of supporting people with disabilities). We ask: To be at least 18 years old; A certificate of completion of schooling; To be motivated by supporting people with neurological conditions; A personality comfortable with human contact, with the ability to integrate and work in a team.
