Surrounded by a park with century-old trees and the same landscape between the Jura and the Alps that already enchanted visitors in the 18th century, the Grand Hôtel and Thermal Centre is an essential jewel of the town at the end of Lake Neuchâtel. A thermal centre, but also a fitness centre for athletes, a conference and seminar centre, the hotel has 85 rooms and 2 restaurants.

The Grand Hôtel and Thermal Centre is looking for: AN ASSISTANT MAÎTRE D’HÔTEL (M/F) PERMANENT – 100%

Your profile:

  • Holder of a Hotel School diploma or CFC in catering
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field
  • Fluency in French
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Organised, flexible, dynamic, rigorous, capable of taking initiative

Your tasks:

  • Support the F&B manager in their duties and replace them in their absence;
  • Ensure the maintenance of service quality and compliance with the Boas group standards;
  • Participate in dining room service and guarantee its excellence;
  • Participate in conference service and guarantee its excellence;
  • Ensure customer follow-up;
  • Have a perfect knowledge of the products and offers of the restaurant, bar and seminars;
  • Manage and monitor stocks daily, create inventories;
  • Track hours and clockings in Mirus;
  • Order and receive goods (drinks, linen, storeroom); Actively participate in continuous improvement both in terms of quality and performance.

Hours: variable, including weekends and public holidays
