Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration and administration of the OpenNebula platform (Sunstone, datastores, virtual networks, VM templates);
• Management of KVM hypervisors and supervision of virtualisation hosts;
• Implementation and monitoring of shared storage;
• Network configuration (VLAN, bridges, firewall rules);
• Routine maintenance: updates, backups, monitoring, incident resolution;
• Technical documentation of configurations and procedures implemented;
• Occasional advice on sizing and infrastructure evolution.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Linux administration (Debian/Ubuntu or RHEL/Rocky);
• Mastery of virtualisation, ideally with KVM; OpenNebula experience is a strong asset;
• Network knowledge: VLAN, bridges, perimeter security concepts;
• Basic knowledge of distributed storage.
