Tasks:
The accounting assistant plays a key role in the administrative and accounting management of the Valvert homes in Pully and Carrefour in Lausanne, emergency and short-term reception homes for adolescents. The position includes responsibilities in accounting and administrative management, and adapts to the specific needs of each site.
Functions & Responsibilities:
Cash Management:•Preparation and updating of cash files•Verification of expenses incurred•Accounting and cash reimbursement of staff cash funds for the assigned sites
Administrative management of residents and billing:•Filing and archiving (accounting and administrative files).•Monitoring invoices and residents’ expenses, in collaboration with educators, according to budgets and individual situations.Creditor management:•Receipt of invoices, checking and accounting•Obtaining the signature approval of the responsible person according to amount and expense•Scanning and archiving of supporting documents•Payments are made by the Unit Manager.General accounting:•Recording monthly bank transactions
Administrative management:•Various other administrative tasks Profile sought:
Education and experience:•Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or commercial maturity. Additional training in accounting is an asset.•Good command of accounting principles, including creditor and debtor management.•Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position.•Good knowledge and mastery of office tools (Office).
