Description
We are looking for an experienced person for the finance team at a traditional Swiss industrial company in the Brugg area.
Your Tasks
- Assisting with the accurate management of the general and subsidiary ledgers
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Handling payment transactions
- Managing and posting cash transactions including expense reports
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
- Reconciling accounts
- Preparing VAT returns
- Preparing budgets and ensuring payment transactions as well as liquidity planning
- Ongoing process optimisation
- First point of contact for audits
Our Requirements
- Commercial basic training
- Further education at the level of the federal diploma in finance and accounting
- Professional experience in an industrial environment is an advantage
- Good knowledge of Swiss tax and VAT law
- Competent in financial statement preparation according to OR
- Confident use of common ERP systems and very good MS Excel skills
- Good English language skills are an advantage
