KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform bank reconciliations

2. Tax & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with Swiss regulations
  • Ensure full adherence to the Swiss Code of Obligations
  • Prepare and file corporate tax declarations
  • Maintain audit-ready financial records at all times

3. Payroll 

  • Process monthly payroll
  • Manage social security, pension, and insurance contributions
  • Maintain employee financial and payroll records
  • Handle expense reimbursements

4. ERP (internal training will be provided by the company)

  • Fully manage and operate financial processes using Odoo
  • Ensure data accuracy and system integrity
  • Optimize and improve internal workflows within Odoo

5. Communication with tax and finance related authorities

  • Establish and maintain internal financial controls
  • Handling direct communication with tax authorities
  • Identify financial risks and implement improvements
  • Independently handle all financial and accounting responsibilities without external Treuhand support

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting and tax regulations
  • Experience with VAT, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Proven ability to manage full accounting processes independently
  • Native German and fluent English is required
