The Design Hôtel F6, a 3-star hotel with 40 rooms, offers contemporary and welcoming accommodation just steps from the Jet d'Eau, Lake Geneva and International Organisations.

Thanks to its privileged location, in a quiet street between Cornavin station and Place des Nations, our establishment welcomes a demanding international clientele to whom we wish to offer a personalised, professional and friendly experience.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Versatile Hotel Employee at 100%, able to move easily between reception, breakfast service and room maintenance.

Your tasks

Within a dynamic team, you actively participate in the smooth running of the hotel by working in several areas.

Reception

  • Warmly welcome our guests and handle check-ins and check-outs.
  • Provide personalised service and tourist information about Geneva.
  • Respond to guest requests with professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Handle administrative operations, billing and payments.
  • Ensure the application of the establishment's quality standards and contribute to customer loyalty.

Breakfast Service

  • Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet.
  • Ensure replenishment and presentation of products.
  • Welcome guests in the breakfast area.
  • Guarantee cleanliness of the areas and compliance with hygiene standards.

Housekeeping

  • Participate in cleaning and restoring rooms and common areas according to the establishment's quality standards.
  • Ensure the comfort of our guests by guaranteeing impeccable rooms.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure excellent service quality.

Hours

The position requires great flexibility and is carried out according to a rotating schedule, during the week and at weekends.

Shifts worked:

  • 06:30 – 15:24
  • 06:45 – 15:39
  • 08:00 – 17:09
  • 15:00 – 23:22

Your profile

You enjoy contact with customers as much as operational work on the ground.

You are recognised for your sense of service, dynamism and versatility.

You notably possess:

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • A successful first experience in hotel reception (a similar category establishment is an asset).
  • Experience or interest in housekeeping and breakfast service activities.
  • An excellent sense of organisation and rigour.
  • A taste for teamwork.
  • Perfect discretion and respect for confidentiality.
  • Excellent command of French and English . German is a real asset.
  • Availability to work variable hours, during the week, weekends and public holidays.
