The Clair Bois Foundation is a private organisation benefiting from a service contract with the State of Geneva. In its five homes located in Pregny-Chambésy, Lancy (Child and Adolescent Centre), Pinchat, Chêne-Bougeries and in the City of Geneva (Adult Centre), it welcomes people with multiple disabilities. It also supports young people in initial training and employs a significant number of staff in adapted employment.

For its Clair Bois-Lancy school and boarding school, the Foundation is looking for:

A specialised teacher

Mission: To guarantee and promote the support of specialised schooling for pupils, in close collaboration with the staff of the various sectors of the specialised school and the families.

Develop educational services that enhance pupils' learning in acquiring knowledge, socio-emotional skills, socialisation and communication.

Apply and develop the support processes of the quality system.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the animation and operation of the class in close collaboration with the multidisciplinary pedagogical-therapeutic, educational and care teams.

Lead and engage in educational classes and support pedagogical activity in a multidisciplinary manner.

Commit to a dynamic of school inclusion. Develop an assessment and educational objectives for the pupils' school project within the class.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and individualised school project meetings.

Supervise interns or MESP students within the class.

Qualifications:

Hold a recognised specialised teaching diploma in Switzerland.

Interest in children with multiple disabilities, experience in pedagogical work and its specific approaches and non-verbal communication.

Experience and/or training in augmentative and alternative communication.

Good interpersonal skills and dynamism. Computer literacy.

Swiss nationality or valid permit.

Driving licence.

Work rate: 70%
