In this role, you will operate at the interface between politics and the financial sector. You will use your expertise to support a strong and sustainable Swiss financial center. We are looking for a manager in public affairs to start on April 1st or as agreed.Your tasks:In this multifaceted role, you will provide crucial support to the public affairs department in defending and developing the political interests of the Swiss banking sector. Your main tasks include:- Monitoring, managing content, and implementing advocacy activities related to ongoing political affairs.- Conceptual support and handling of political dossiers and positions.- Writing briefings, positions, and arguments in close collaboration with internal expert services.- Translating complex political issues into understandable, precise, and tailored messages for the target audience.- Supporting committee work, including content management and close collaboration with internal expert services as well as external stakeholders from politics and professional circles.Professional and experience requirements:- Degree from a university of applied sciences, preferably in political science, public affairs, or a similar discipline.- Several years of professional experience in public affairs or politics.- In-depth understanding of the political decision-making processes in Switzerland (parliament, federal structures).- Extensive experience in writing political texts (e.g., briefings, position papers, arguments, responses) with a perfect command of political language, tone, and logic in handling complex dossiers and working in interdisciplinary environments.Personal qualities and skills:- Team spirit, loyalty, and stress resistance.- Political sense and a taste for committee work, structured and autonomous working style, with a proactive mentality and enthusiasm for the team and analytical skills to quickly understand complex policies.- Willingness to create optimal framework conditions for the Swiss banking sector.- Stylistically strong written expression, highly oriented towards the target audience.- Excellent command of French and good knowledge of German and English.We offer:You will actively participate in shaping the political framework conditions for the Swiss banking sector.
