We are looking for the urban environment service

Within a team of 3 people attached to the green spaces sector, the grave diggers ensure the maintenance and development of the cemeteries of Vernier, Old Vernier and Aïre, in a working environment combining heritage, nature and service to the population.

Your mission

• Ensure the digging of graves, burials, exhumations and urn deposits
• Manufacture and install temporary surrounds on new graves
• Proceed with the decommissioning of graves that have expired
• Provide information to cemetery visitors
• Carry out maintenance of green and flowered spaces in the cemeteries (lawn mowing, watering, leaf collection and shredding) and perform pruning, trimming, felling of trees and shrubs
• Participate in snow duty and winter road maintenance operations
• Participate in the logistical activities of events

Your profile

• Proven experience in green space maintenance
• Category B driving licence
• M1 KBMF licence
• Availability and flexible hours to meet service needs, especially according to activity requirements
• Physical robustness and resistance to weather variations
• Good interpersonal skills, courtesy and kindness towards cemetery visitors
