The Museum of History of the City of Geneva (MHNG) is seeking a 100% HR Manager. The Museum of History of the City of Geneva (MHNG) is one of the main scientific and cultural institutions in Switzerland. It carries out research, education, and dissemination of science and culture. To strengthen its team, MHNG is looking for an HR Manager at 100%. Your mission and responsibilities:- Provide support and advice to management and staff.- Be a proactive support in recruitment processes and skills development.- Manage the entire life cycle of employment, reports, and working conditions.- Take the lead in managing absences, maintaining a good work environment, and preventing psychosocial risks.- Contribute to institutional HR management and ensure the management and logistics of human resources at the Museum.- Ensure the reliability of HR data, compliance with the regulations and directives of the City of Geneva, and the quality of local HR services.- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of HR processes at the Museum.- Contribute to cross-sectional HR projects of the institution and its two sites (Museum X of the history of sciences).Your profile:- Hold a higher degree in human resources (federal diploma of HR specialist, diploma or equivalent qualification) and have at least 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in the public or parapublic sector.- Possess in-depth expertise in applicable legal frameworks (REGAP, HR directives) and excellent mastery of institutional HR processes.- Demonstrate proven experience in managing complex and sensitive HR matters, as well as in providing support and advice to management.- Be capable of assuming an HR reference role, with analytical skills, rigor, and reasoned proposals.- Show a strong sense of confidentiality, respect, and neutrality.- Have high autonomy, excellent prioritization skills, and the ability to anticipate HR risks.- Exhibit excellent collaboration ability and be able to work cross-functionally with various hierarchical levels.- Combine technical expertise with support.
