GeneralMedia SA is a dynamic SME based in Lausanne offering its clients print publishing products (Passeport Gourmand, Passeport Loisirs, Magazine Loisirs.ch) and digital products (loisirs.ch, tempslibre.ch, concours.ch, freizeit.ch) related to leisure and gastronomy.

To complete our editorial team, we are looking for a

100% Editorial Intern

who is dynamic and motivated. This internship offers a unique opportunity to dive into the world of leisure and culture, actively contributing to the promotion of local events while participating in the preparation of varied editorial content.

Main tasks:

• Contributing to the enrichment of websites dedicated to culture and leisure
• Actively researching cultural and leisure events in French-speaking Switzerland and proposing topics aligned with the editorial line
• Writing and producing varied content
• Participating in the creation and updating of thematic dossiers
• Rewriting, correcting and formatting various texts for different media
• Participating in editorial meetings and interacting with cultural partners or local institutions
• Occasional assistance with social media management and coordination with clients

Profile sought:

• Graduate in Literature, Communication or Journalism
• Excellent writing skills in French, very good command of spelling and syntax
• Ability to synthesise information and adopt different writing tones depending on the media
• Knowledge of Canva or similar tools
• Ease in researching information and verifying sources
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully, fostering a pleasant and productive work environment
• Strong interest in cultural news and leisure in French-speaking Switzerland
• Autonomy in managing daily tasks, team spirit, curiosity, initiative and ability to meet deadlines
