IMAD is a pioneering and 100% reference institution in home care in the canton of Geneva. It provides care, support, prevention, and health promotion services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, to more than people of all ages, 25% of whom are under 65. The technical social worker will join the autonomy technology service (STA), whose main mission is to provide Geneva residents with a teleassistance service. Our telealarm devices ensure that our clients receive an appropriate response for each type of alarm they may trigger. This service is primarily offered to elderly people, whether they live in their own home or in an apartment within residential buildings for seniors (IEPA).Your missions and responsibilities:The mission of the technical social worker is to contribute through intervention to the maintenance at home (private or institutional) of clients by providing them with technological solutions that improve home care and autonomy (security devices, lighting, environmental controls, etc.). His activities will be structured as follows:With clients:- Guide and inform IMAD clients about the available services, devices, tariffs, and the socio-sanitary network.- Implement technological devices (security equipment, lighting, etc.), integrate them into existing systems, and perform necessary tests and adjustments.- Explain the operation of equipment to clients and their caregivers, reassure them with information, and ensure a good understanding of IMAD and the medico-social network.- Alarm management: Ensure alarm processing, relay files to professional central monitoring, collaborate with IEPA teams for interventions and follow-up.- Equipment management: Clean, maintain, recondition, and repair returned equipment while respecting standards and traceability.- Inform hierarchy in case of problems, ensure traceability of interventions in the system.- Provide emergency service on weekends and holidays.Profile:- Training in a technical field or equivalent.- Recent experience in a technical activity with client interventions (maintenance, support, or after-sales service).- Interest in technologies related to security systems, lighting, environmental monitoring, or home automation, and a real proficiency in tools (MS Office, Teams, ERP, etc.).- Service-oriented and comfortable, especially with older people (listening, availability, answering questions, reassuring, managing difficult situations, working methodically and accurately, making decisions, and working in a team).At IMAD, we believe that well-being is essential.
