Founded in Geneva, our institution supports individuals who, at some point in their lives, need assistance for the time necessary to (re)gain sustainable autonomy. We promote the social and professional reintegration of individuals receiving social assistance, we welcome and host asylum seekers whom we support in their journey. Finally, we participate in the fight against isolation of people spread across 60 sites throughout the canton. You ensure the welcome and safety within the accommodation as well as compliance with regulations. You develop methods and promote the acquisition of the young person's skills in their process by valuing individual resources. You continue to follow up on young adults to consolidate the acquired autonomy in a holistic approach with internal partners and main activities. Participate in the implementation and updating of the institutional pedagogical project. Ensure safety, health, finance, accommodation rules, and social environment welcome. Collaborate closely with the young person’s health network, legal representative, teaching staff, and possibly their social worker. Take emergency measures in major crisis situations and alert specialized services. Raise awareness and empower young people regarding community life, in close collaboration on developing and supervising projects and activities that promote well-being, prevention, group dynamics, and the process, as well as financial support and access to social insurance in close collaboration with financial managers and/or assistants. Analyze and evaluate the needs of each young person periodically and propose an individualized project and adjust objectives based on individual resources and autonomy levels. Advise and guide the young person in their steps with specialists in the fields of asylum, health, schooling, and guide minors to adulthood to facilitate the transition to adulthood.
