Social worker in foster care, fixed-term contract until [date], renewable. The medical-pedagogical office (OMP) of Geneva takes care of the development and learning of children and young people in vulnerable situations in the canton. The OMP is looking for one or more social workers in foster care to join the team at the Boveau School, a minor protection institution located in Corbeyrier (VD). You will support and care for children and pre-teens aged 4 to 12 who benefit from protection measures. Schedule: Schedules include morning shifts, evening shifts, some nights, and about ten weekends. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Social Work or an equivalent title recognized by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SEFRI). The recognition must be provided if applicable. Specific skills characterizing the position: - Willingness and ability to work with children experiencing emotional difficulties and/or complex personal issues. - Possess authority and a good level of internal security. - Proven skills for teamwork. - Oral and written proficiency in French. - Reflective posture and self-analysis capability. Conditions: You will also benefit from working conditions as this is a fixed-term contract until the end of the current school year, which will be renewed based on needs.
