We are working on behalf of one of our clients, a 3-star hotel establishment with a human scale, featuring around thirty rooms and combining hospitality with pub activities, located in the vicinity of Lausanne, for the recruitment of a committed, conscientious, and flexible manager who will hold the position of Restaurant Manager. Permanent contract – 100% | Start date: immediately or to be agreed uponRestaurant Manager MISSION DESCRIPTIONIn direct liaison with the operators, you take overall responsibility for the management of the restaurant and the pub, both in operational and managerial aspects. You supervise the dining and bar teams, plan the services, and ensure the smooth operation of daily activities within an establishment of about 70 indoor seats, complemented by a terrace, open 7 days a week. As a hands-on manager, you are actively involved in the service and guarantee the quality of welcome as well as the customer experience. You will also ensure the daily cash closures, stock management, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards in connection with the kitchen. Working closely with management, you contribute to internal processes, monitor quality standards, and lead the dining brigade, mobilized around clearly customer-oriented objectives, without compromising on demands and quality. PROFILEYou have a solid background in hospitality and have a confirmed experience of at least 4 years as a Restaurant Manager, ideally gained in a traditional restaurant or a 3 to 4-star hotel establishment. With strong leadership skills, you combine a sense of responsibility, flexibility, and a high customer focus. Comfortable with demanding clientele, you demonstrate charm and know how to establish a relationship of trust with your teams. Your clear and structured communication promotes constructive exchanges and customer satisfaction. Proficiency in French is required, as well as a level of English; knowledge of German is considered an asset.
