In this context, it works closely with all other HUG services, such as the infectious disease department, the tropical and humanitarian medicine service, general medicine, as well as the vaccinology department. The objective is to ensure an optimal care pathway regardless of the department welcoming the patients, to propose vaccination schedules, to strengthen nursing and medical expertise, and to promote research in vaccinology. The center is involved in various clinical research activities and in collaboration with the University of Geneva and various services within the institution. The position is under the direct supervision of a chief resident physician.Internal Physician at the Vaccinology Center - 100%You actively participate in the vaccinology care of children and adults, and in particular of immunosuppressed people followed within the HUG. In this capacity, you carry out complete vaccination assessments, ensure the necessary vaccinations, organize follow-ups, and ensure the transmission of relevant information to private practitioners. This activity includes approximately 100 annual consultations in the presence of hospitalized patients, particularly in the context of pre- and post-transplant follow-ups, as well as approximately 300 consultations based on files. You actively participate in vaccination serologies in connection with the Vaccinology department, representing approximately expertises per year. This sustained activity allows you to develop in-depth expertise in clinical vaccinology and in the management of patients presenting with varied underlying conditions. You are also required to respond as quickly as possible to requests for vaccination advice for the entire adult department of the Geneva University Hospitals, by proposing diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic solutions adapted, under the supervision of the medical hierarchy. With the medical team, you contribute to the creation and regular updating of protocols and documents related to vaccinology care at the HUG. You evolve in a multidisciplinary and research-oriented environment favoring the exchange of skills and continuous development. You hold a medical degree or possess a qualification deemed equivalent by the Commission for Medical Professions (MEBEKO). For non-French speakers, a C1 level of French in spoken and written tests is required. You have good knowledge of internal medicine. You demonstrate excellent communication skills within a multidisciplinary team and with patients. You are an autonomous, flexible, and committed person.
