The City of Monthey is offering the following position, open equally to women and men: HEAD OF MOBILITY AND ENVIRONMENT FOR THE INFRASTRUCTURES, MOBILITY, ENVIRONMENT, AND SPORTS SERVICE. Your mission is to ensure compliance with the urban mobility concept in municipal projects as well as at the intermunicipal level. Promote soft mobility (walking, cycling) by improving networks, safety, and services. Manage the water network. Coordinate environmental procedures, including noise protection and urban soil management. Participate in environmental management in other areas of the service (water supply, waterways, roads, public works, forest). Your qualifications include a university degree from EPF, an HES engineer in civil engineering or environmental science, or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field of Mobility. Solid knowledge of environmental laws. Ability to lead projects to their completion and manage procedures with contact, spirit, and a sense of responsibility. Autonomy and ability to work in a team. Employment conditions are in accordance with the personnel regulations and the municipal salary scale. Start date is July 1 or to be agreed upon.
