Since, under the institutional framework of the Nursing and Medical and Quality Departments, HUG allies of diversity aims to contribute to a more equitable and inclusive care environment for people of sexual and gender diversity (DGS). HUG allies of diversity works to ensure access to care for DGS individuals and their loved ones, without prejudice and considering their specific needs. With the support of private health professionals and financially backed by HUG, HUG allies of diversity operates through four main areas: collecting staff data, developing a network of health diversity referents, and raising awareness about health resources related to diversity. As an intern within HUG allies of diversity, you will work under the responsibility of the co-project leaders, in collaboration with the project manager to provide support in project management and event organization. Eager to contribute to cross-cutting projects aimed at health equity, you will perform various tasks within a stimulating, multidisciplinary environment and assist the co-responsible persons in their reflection and design activities, as well as support events and activities related to health equity. You will provide support for agenda management, writing minutes, and creating various materials. You will contribute to reporting activities surrounding various issues and have the opportunity to write an internship report directly related to your activities with the support of your supervisor. You are in the process of completing your 2nd year Master's degree in social sciences, gender studies, global health sciences, or any other relevant field. You must undertake an internship as part of your curriculum and have an internship agreement. You possess very good writing and analytical skills and have good knowledge of the health issues faced by people of gender diversity. The position also requires significant capabilities related to the diversity of tasks and responsibilities, and you are able to navigate sensitive and complex issues with professionalism. Experience in project management, and working with diverse individuals represent an asset. You must be proficient with common office tools (Outlook, Teams, etc.).
